As one of Janet’s best friends was making a ‘Janet’
scrapbook, two light bulbs blew out at the same time. She knew Janet
was with her. This same family was also visited the morning of the
second day of school by a little bird who sat on the umbrella outside
their kitchen window singing away. Janet’s friend remembered how much
she liked to sing and knew she had just stopped by to say hello.

As one of Janet’s best friend’s mother was walking
into her bedroom, two light bulbs blew out at the same time. Another
sure sign that Janet was visiting. This same family also had a
wonderful visit from a beautiful little bird. Out on their deck was a
Frisbee that had been there for weeks. It had filled with water from a
recent rain. This special little bird decided to hang out for a long
while and take a bath; splashing in the water. Janet’s friends were
nearby jumping and talking on the trampoline. September ‘06

One of Janet’s best friend’s mothers went to Motor
Vehicle Inspection. Knowing that her car would fail for a cracked
windshield, she was prepared. A large, burly man who worked there
walked up to her and linked arms. They began walking towards the end
of the inspection area. He told her that she had a cracked windshield.
She replied that she had an appointment for next week to have it
replaced. She got in her car and waited for him to apply the Failed
sticker. Instead, he placed a new (passed) sticker on her windshield
and with that instructed her to “Be sure to perform several random
acts of kindness today.” A sure sign of Janet! Keep your eyes and ears
open. Janet will be sending us messages in many different ways.

During the Girl Scout ceremony at the cemetery,
there was a beautiful bird chirping for quite a while. A sign Janet
was right there with her friends. September ‘06

As a friend of Janet’s mother walked with her
sister-in-law to go snorkeling in Mexico, her sister-in-law started
singing ‘This Little Light of Mine, I’m going to let it shine…’ When
asked why she started singing it, she said she had no idea. It just
came to her. Another wonderful visit! September ‘06

The newspaper article that was printed citing
Overlook Hospital was one of the best to go to for Cardiac Arrest. A
sure sign that Janet was letting her Dad know he made the right
decision for where to bring her. September ‘06

The front page article in the Star Ledger on the
Monarch Butterflies. This year is the biggest migration in one, if not
two decades. The last sentence of the article sounded like it came
straight from Janet, ‘It’s going to be an awesome year.’ September ‘06
