JUNE REMINDERS OF JANET

  • Janet’s mom asked her for some signs again to let us know that she’s ok.  The next day or so, Jimmy and her were driving in the car and Jimmy looked out the window and there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky.  It hadn’t even rained.  Angels paint the sky beautiful colors and Janet loved art.

  • Our first time in 2007 back at the Watchung Hills Pop Warner Complex for a speed and agility clinic and it was difficult.  It was beautiful out until ten minutes before it was to start, at which time the sky opened up for the next 40 minutes with pouring rain, thunder and lightning.  You could watch the storm moving and see the bright skies coming.  As the storm passed, an incredible rainbow came out of the sky.  It was big and unbelievably colorful and beautiful.  Then just as we all stood staring at it, a second rainbow came out on top.  A double rainbow had appeared.  It stayed clear for the remainder of the clinic and just as it was over, the sky darkened again.  As we left the parking lot, there was one small bright patch in the sky.  It looked spiritual, like the pathway to heaven.  There will always be an angel there.

  • Janet’s Dad was at work having a particularly bad day.  Unable to figure out some financial problems, he started to get very stressed.  Just then, How to Save a Life came on the radio.  It calmed him immediately and he figured out what the solution to the problem.  Janet’s way of keeping an eye out for her Dad.

  • On June 25th we went to the Patriot Game where we had a suite.  Coincidentally, it also happened to be the first day of camp at Camp Sunshine.  It was very hard for Jimmy to go back to camp without Janet.  It was very hard to pack one camp back, one suntan lotion, one towel…  We always feel so guilty doing anything fun without Janet.  We went to the game and walked into the suite and immediately knew that Janna would think this was the coolest thing.  Janna’s dad said she was with us enjoying it.  As we sat outside listening to the game, they announced the winner of the Sweetheart of the Game – a woman named Janet.  This was the second time we were at the Patriots game and a woman named Janet won something.  In our hearts, Janet really was and always will be the ‘Sweetheart of the Game’.

  • On June 30th, Janet’s family went to eat in Champions in Boston.  This was a place we ate at frequently at the Marriott in Aruba.  The first thing we read on the menu was the heading ‘CHEERLEADERS’ – our first reminder.  Seconds later, ‘Move Along’ started to play.  Janet always lets us know that we are not alone.  She is always with us.
