  • Each participant received the American Heart Association Heartsaver Certification.
  • 101 people certified that day ranging in age from 14 to 71!
  • Participants included coaches, parents, grandparents, scout leaders and youth.

Additional training through Warren Township Rescue Squad and Atlantic Health System trained approximately another 100 people.

 AWARENESS

We have reached over 5000 people raising awareness on sudden cardiac arrest in youth and the importance of AEDs.  Special thanks to the Somerset Patriots and Chubb Insurance.

 OUR AFFILIATIONS

THE JZMF is a proud member of PHW – the national voice for eliminating cardiac arrest in our youth.  They are a wonderful group, unfortunately bound by the same tragic loss, the loss of a child to SCA.  We attended their symposium in January and learned so much!  We will help make schools, communities and youth activities safe.
